About Krystal

Krystal Snider is the Executive Disrupter at Collaborative Community Solutions, a consulting and training firm based in Niagara. Having worked for feminist agencies for over ten years, and being a survivor of human trafficking herself, Krystal’s focus is on addressing systemic barriers and root causes rather than relying on the same old band-aid solutions. In 2019, she co-facilitated a workshop in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the World YWCA Council. For her anti-human trafficking work she has received the Niagara Top 40 Under 40 award in 2020, and was a finalist for the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business award in 2019.

Krystal is earning her Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies and is certified in Trauma informed Counseling for Front Line Workers and is a certified Trainer for Crisis intervention.

On a personal level, Krystal is a mom, sister, partner, daughter, student, traveler, and nature lover. When she is not busy taking down the patriarchy, she can be found camping, reading or planning her next murder mystery dinner.

I really enjoyed your training. You’re highly efficient and professional in the way you present the material, and your life experience really adds humanity. You have a gift, and through your voice to my work, I believe we can help others.

I really enjoyed the break-out rooms and the opportunity for ongoing dialogue and discussion. Thank Krystal for an informative and well-delivered virtual workshop.

Very valuable training. So glad I attended!

One thing I was able to learn right away was the ability to break a complex situation down into bite-sized attainable solutions.
I really appreciate that this was a survivor led workshop that challenges ‘mainstream’ learning and information regarding human trafficking. You took a critical approach to human trafficking, it was excellent. So much valuable information. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
All of it, it was amazing. Each time I attend I learn something new about myself and the work with survivors.
I think this program is very important and I am so grateful that I was given the opportunity to attend and learn about this issue. I think the collaborative interactive work we did was super beneficial and a great example of how much we can accomplish if we just work together! I hope to connect with all attendees and Krystal in future!
